AI OSS Maintainer agent tools

Install the aiom CLI and the aiom-review skill. The CLI talks to the token-gated agent API; the skill teaches an agent the review workflow. AIOM never writes to GitHub: the CLI's only write is an advisory local review, and the skill's optional fix workflow pushes only when the maintainer explicitly asks, to their own PR branch.

Install the CLI

curl -fsSL https://aiom.sh/agent/install.sh | sh

The installer picks the binary for this platform, verifies its SHA-256, installs to an existing aiom directory (else ~/.cargo/bin, else ~/.local/bin), and prints the version. Set AIOM_INSTALL_DIR to override the directory, or AIOM_BUILD to pin a build.

Save a binary as aiom and chmod +x it. macOS browser downloads are quarantined; use the installer, or clear it with xattr -d com.apple.quarantine aiom.

Variable	Meaning
`AIOM_BASE_URL`	This server, e.g. `https://aiom.sh`
`AIOM_AGENT_TOKEN`	Your bearer token (a human creates it under Settings → Agent tokens)

Refs accept an internal id, owner/name#N, or a GitHub URL. Add --json for machine-readable output.

Guardrails

A local review is advisory: it appears on the PR page but never changes the AI verdict or the pipeline status. The agent token is read-mostly; the skill may push an explicitly requested fix to the maintainer's own PR branch. Never comment, label, merge, or review on GitHub, and never push someone else's branch.
